Mainstream media such as The New York Times, The Guardian, and Le Monde have demonstrated in their pages that COP16 represents a genuine effort to protect nature, as delegates from more than 175 participating countries have come to Cali to finalize how the international agreement reached in Montreal two years ago—based on 23 objectives to be met by 2030—will lay out a roadmap for a new relationship with the natural world.
